Key Account Controller
Principal Purpose:  To Manage and Update Key dealers on their order status and any queries pertaining to same,

Nature and Scope: Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients and expanding the relationships with existing customer by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.


  1. Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competitors.
  2. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  3. Acquire a thorough understanding of products and services
  4. Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  5. Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  6. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  7. Acknowledge and following up within 24 hours on enquiries and sending out information to the customer.
  8. Entering all required data for open orders onto the company system
  9. Responding to incoming email, Tickets and phone enquiries
  10. Challenging any objections with a view to the customer being satisfied with customer service.
  11. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training workshops where possible
  12. Working as part of a team to accomplishing related results as needed
  13. Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues
  14. Confidentiality is required in relation to all customers details and suppliers’ details. Under no circumstance is any third party to receive any information relating to customers or suppliers’ details.
  15. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed above, the Key Account Controller may be required to perform other duties as deemed reasonable and necessary
