Quality Control Officer
- Implement process control and ensure process capability is maintained and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Completion of statistical analysis in compliance with Quality System requirements.
- Create quality plans, define testing protocols, and prepare comprehensive performance reports in compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
- Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintain product and process data base by; entering data, developing documents.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
- Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
- Investigate, log and resolve all component quality issues from your respective Quality Workbench on a weekly basis.
- Liaise with key stake holders, including Engineering, Purchasing, Procurement, and The Lean & Quality department in the resolution of issues.
- Liaise with the Quality Department in relation to quality issues and ensure all issues are closed off fully in line with the business’s expectations.
- Carry our improvement-based projects as instructed by the Production Manager.
- Degree in Engineering with relevant experience is essential.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with detail.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team essential.
