Responsibilities & Duties

Using background in engineering and technical sales of electric, internal combustion hydrostatic drive lift trucks, lead the company’s North American operations, including sales, service and parts.

Plan, develop and implement policies and objectives, including growth strategies.

Increase service levels and spare parts support.  Hire sales, service, and support personnel. Analyze operations to evaluate performance. Support a team of regional managers, national account managers, service team and parts distributors, and dealers and distributors in the region.

Implement a dealer structure and liaise with dealers across North America to grow sales. Supervise approximately 45 sales, administration, and technical personnel. Domestic and international travel (75% US and 25% Canada and Ireland).

Essential Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, closely related engineering field or foreign equivalent, plus 8 years of mechanical engineering experience which includes the following: factory-based experience including designing electric and internal combustion hydrostatic drive lift trucks (fork lifts);

Assembling and servicing lift trucks; troubleshooting machine designs and prototypes and testing new products; and training production, services and sales staff on technical requirements.

Mechanical Desktop; SolidWorks; Syteline; AutoCAD, Inventor and CNC DAD/CAM applications.
