Learn and develop engineering skills essential for employment in the engineering manufacturing sector.
If you are interested in a career in engineering and working with Combilift then the OEM in Engineering Traineeship should be your number one choice. The course comprises of 26 weeks of theoretical learning in Monaghan Institute and 12 weeks practical work experience at Combilift learning subjects including machining, fitting, control systems, auto electrics, CAD and hydraulics. Graduates will earn a QQI Level 5 Engineering Certificate from City & Guilds. Students taking part are entitled to continue any Department of Social Protection payments, travel or accommodation allowance, a meal allowance and access to the CETS Childcare scheme. Trainees not in receipt of any State grants or payments may be eligible for a €100 bursary from Combilift.

OEM (ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER) APPRENTICESHIP
A new and exciting way to study engineering while earning a salary.
The OEM Apprenticeship was developed in 2019 to address the demand for engineers available in the machine manufacturing industry, by a consortium of industry leaders of which Combilift is a member.
During the apprenticeship you would be employed by Combilift, earning a salary and learning a range of engineering skills that are highly valued by the manufacturing industry while living in the local community.
The OEM apprenticeship is level 6 QQI level 6 Advanced Certificate in Original Equipment Manufacturing, with a focus on the engineering and manufacturing were you would learn a range of skills such as engineering drawing electrical and electronic technology OEM practices, mechatronics, analytical & problem solving and Industrial robotics.
