The aim of the challenge:

Combilift are taking on a new challenge called, “Walk Around The World In 40 days” which started on Tuesday 1st June until Thursday 10th July 2021 in support of LA519.

It takes 8000 hours to walk the world so we aim to complete 8000 hours of exercise in total in 40 days and raise as much donations as possible through a go fund me page which you can donate through the link here:

LA519 are a not-for-profit initiative founded by Deirdre Costello and Barry Aughey, parents of the late Luke Aughey who they lost to suicide. Deirdre and Barry want Luke’s legacy to make a difference and help those that need it. Funds raised will go towards the cost of counselling sessions for young adults experiencing mental health issues and suicidal thoughts in Monaghan and surrounding areas, as well as raising awareness of the help and support that is available.

LA are not only the initials of Luke Aughey’s name they also stand for ‘Local Area’ which represents directly where funds raised will be invested in – helping the young people Monaghan and surrounding areas.

You can text LA519 to 50808 to be connected to a trained counsellor who can support you with any issues that are troubling you. For further resources visit the LA519 website:
