Combilift was delighted to join the Taoiseach, Michéal Martin T.D. and First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford at a business programme in Cardiff on Friday 19th November. Organised by Enterprise Ireland, the event showcased Irish businesses which are working with partners in Wales to deliver innovative solutions, focusing particularly on sustainability. Combilift’s CEO Martin McVicar would also like to thank all our customers who attended City Hall in the afternoon.
These customers and many more in Wales across various industry sectors are benefitting from the design of Combilift’s products which enables them to store more in less space, and using electric powered models also reduces their carbon footprint. This is in line with the Welsh government’s plan to launch a new 10-year Wales Infrastructure Investment Plan for a zero-carbon economy.
Martin McVicar noted:
“Combilift has a strong customer base in Wales where the manufacturing and warehousing sectors are an ideal fit with the products that we offer. Panasonic for example operates a large fleet of our electric Aisle Master articulated trucks at its Cardiff facility, allowing it to stock substantially more volume in a reduced footprint. This has enabled considerable cost-savings whilst contributing to more sustainable operation.”
