Accounts Technician / Part Qualified Accountant
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time position within our busy Accounts department. The role involves the daily control of the Accounts function of a US based subsidiary company and the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and reports. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working on their own initiative, have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team. The role will suit a person who is highly organised, enthusiastic and eager to work in a busy Accounts department.

  • Processing sales invoices on a daily basis
  • Resolving customer queries in relation to invoices
  • Posting customer receipts
  • Oversee debtor accounts and debt collection
  • Reconciling intercompany accounts
  • Monthly bank reconciliation
  • Preparation of suite of monthly reports
  • Overseeing rental process for US based rentals
  • Maintaining stock listing accurately
  • Other ad hoc duties as required e.g. assisting with year end audit

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • 2 years Accounts experience necessary
  • Experience posting accounting journals
  • Independent and can work on own initiative with an ability to take direction when given
  • Ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Drive for process improvements
