HR GENERALIST OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN OUR FAST-PACED HR TEAM!
We now have an excellent opportunity for a HR Generalist to join our HR Team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working on their own initiative, have excellent communications skills and work well as part of a team.
The role will suit a person who is highly organised, enthusiastic, has the ability to build up a rapport with employees, Team Leaders and Management and eager to work and develop in a fast-paced Global Company.

Provided comprehensive HR support across Ireland, the UK, and the USA, managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, absence management, training and development, and HR administration. Maintained personnel records, ensured compliance with Irish and UK employment legislation, collaborated with payroll and H&S, coordinated employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and supported HR projects while delivering excellent service to employees and managers.
- Provide comprehensive HR administration support across the site.
- Recruitment and Onboarding at our Global Headquarters in Ireland.
- Provide support for Recruitment in UK and USA and HR support for UK based teams.
- Issuing Contracts of Employment and Facilitate probation reviews
- Maintenance of all personnel files and records (soft and hard copy), ensuring all data is maintained on a timely manner basis and in line with the current data protection legislation
- Support management with ER and performance issues, provide general HR support to colleagues and management
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders e.g. employees, Line Managers and the wider HR community.
- Generate management reports and ad- hoc reports as required.
- Absence Management – Run reports and liaise with Supervisors to address absence issues and refer to OH as required
- Comprehensive HR knowledge, especially hands-on experience in employee relations and performance management.
- Reward and Recognition- Assist with Service awards, employee events and ad-hoc recruitment events on and off-site.
- Training and Development- identify and coordinate training aligned with business needs.
- Promotion of OEM Traineeship and Apprenticeship Programmes.
- Experience in dealing with Grievances and disciplinaries.
- Knowledge of up to date Irish and UK Employment Legislation and updating policies to reflect changes as required.
- Work collaboratively with the HR team on ongoing and new projects.
- Along with the HR Team, plan and coordinate Well-being events throughout the year.
- Liaise closely with Payroll and H&S Departments.
- Ad hoc Projects.
Degree-qualified HR professional (or equivalent experience) with expertise in end-to-end recruitment, employee relations, and HR best practice. Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation (UK experience advantageous), excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide effective coaching and support in a fast-paced environment.
- Primary Degree in HR or related discipline or else 2- 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience managing end-to-end recruitment and employee relations casework.
- UK recruitment and HR experience is advantageous.
- CIPD qualification
- Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and HR Best practice required.
- Knowledge of UK Legislation is advantageous.
- Proven organisational and time management skills.
- High level of computer literacy including comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with Stakeholders at all levels.
- Capable of working independently with limited supervision.
- Proactive, adaptable and motivated
- Provide support and coaching as needed
