We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler to join our team at our Global HQ in Co. Monaghan. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy manufacturing environment, supporting production through accurate material handling, kitting, stock control, and timely delivery of parts to production lines.

This role includes picking and distributing machine kits, maintaining stock and location accuracy, reporting shortages, and working with Production, Purchasing, Lean and other departments to resolve issues and support improvements. Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities & duties
  • Printing out pick lists from the Factory Track System.
  • Pick the parts in-line with the kitting SOP.
  • High-light shortages to your supervisor as per SOP.
  • Distribute parts lineside for use on the production lines.
  • Ensure all machine kits are picked and brought to correct point of use, in a timely manner, to support productions needs.
  • Data integrity: General responsibility to maintain stock and location accuracy in all locations associated with Steel Stores and production locations.
  • Where appropriate and with the support of your Supervisor, identifying and implement projects which will improve location and stock accuracy.
  • Work along with other key departments (Production, Data Integrity, Lean, Purchasing) when needed to resolve issues as they occur or as part of improvement projects.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and guidelines while carrying out their duties.
Qualifications and skills
  • Highly motivated with strong communication skills.
  • Working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.
