Combilift’s wide range of multidirectional forklifts has enabled Kerschbaum-Haus GmbH a 120-year-old timber manufacturer in Bavaria to streamline the handling of varied timber products across its site. Initially replacing counterbalance trucks and sideloaders, the company started with a 6t C6000XL to transport timber packs and large structural elements. Now, five customised Combilift models, with capacities from 3 to 14 tonnes, support daily operations, enhancing safety and efficiency.
Cheshire Mouldings has boosted storage capacity by 50% since switching to Combilift trucks. The latest addition a C3000 Combi-ST stand-on model allows aisle widths as narrow as 2.1m, doubling usable space in parts of the warehouse. Products like stair parts and handrails are now stored up to 6.8m high, effectively turning 8,000ft² into 16,000ft². The 4-way functionality and guided aisle system improve handling, safety, and efficiency.
JT, the UK’s top shower tray manufacturer, was the first to put Combilift’s new Combi-CS pedestrian stacker into action, following its IMHX launch. With production nearly doubling, the compact, 1000kg-capacity stacker is ideal for JT’s narrow aisles and varied pallet sizes. Its multi-position tiller arm enhances safety by allowing side operation and full visibility. JT’s Warehouse Manager called it “the best piece of kit on site,” praising its build quality
DM Food Group uses the compact Combi-WR to maximise space in its cold storage facility in Lincolnshire, operating efficiently at -18°C. As production has grown, so has the need for safe, space-saving handling of standard and euro pallets. The pedestrian truck’s easy operation suits narrow aisles and simplifies training, making it ideal for busy, confined freezer environments.
Combilift added yet another industry award to its ever growing tally when its Combi-PPT model won the Safety Category of the FTLA Awards for Excellence 2019 on March 30th.
Imorex Shipping Services has increased container handling capacity by 40% with the adoption of Combilift’s Straddle Carrier. Replacing forklifts and ramps, the SC improved yard space use, safety, and efficiency. Its simple, reliable design and manoeuvrability have made a significant impact on daily operations.
We can offer a more cost-effective service by increasing the size of the pretreatment tanks and galvanizing kettles, which are now 10.25m long compared to the old 7m kettles. This, in turn, means that our finished materials are longer than ever and the counterbalance forklifts we were using to transport them to the storage yard…
