Material Handler/Kitting
Reporting to: Combilift Stores Manager, Inventory Control Manager
- Carry out kitting activities which are:
- Printing our pick lists from the Factory Track System
- Pick the parts in-line with the kitting SOP,
- High-light shortages to your supervisor as per the SOP.
- Distribute parts lineside in the receptacles provided for use on the production lines.
- Ensure all machine kits are picked and are brought to correct point of use in a timely manner to support productions needs
- Data integrity: General responsibility to maintain stock and location accuracy in all locations associated with main stores and production locations.
- Where appropriate and with the support of your Supervisor, identifying and implement projects which will improve location and stock accuracy.
- Work along with other key departments (Production, Data Integrity, Lean, Purchasing) when needed to resolve issues as they occur or as part of improvement projects.
- Although you will be assigned an area of responsibility it will be expected of you to help when needed other team members
- The ability to work not only as part of a team but also on own initiative.
- Be agreeable to continual training in all areas of warehouse operations
- Awareness and implementation of Health & Safety process
- Good time keeping is essential
- Agreement to overtime when requested
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Process driven
- Experience or knowledge of using ERP systems in a store-room environment advantageous.
- Can do attitude
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Self-Starter
