The Combi-LC is a customisable transport solution for offshore wind turbine components up to 115m long and 70t, using remote-controlled carriers with adaptable chassis beds to move loads efficiently across production and storage sites over distances up to 5km.
The Combi-LC Blade carrier uses a special attachment to grip the blade’s cylindrical end at the generator hub, while a 75t-capacity, 12-wheel diesel unit with 6-wheel steering ensures smooth movement. Its tip-side unit supports the blade’s narrow end with a hydraulic tilting clamp for safe, controlled transport.
