The advantages of the four-way concept that combines front and side loading technology are significant compared to conventional forklifts

Debuting at Ligna 2025 in Hannover, the Combi-FSE 8000 takes the proven strengths of Combilift’s smaller FSE models and scales them up for heavier-duty applications. It is designed for operations that need zero-emission performance without compromising on power, safety, or durability, making it a strong fit for industries handling timber, steel, and other long loads, especially in confined yards or indoor environments.
A key upgrade is the advanced Independent Traction Control system, featuring two 18kW drive motors, up from 15kW on smaller models. Combined with Combilift’s patented steering and traction technology, this setup supports smooth, stable handling even in wet or uneven yard conditions. The truck also introduces an optimised battery layout, using an under-deck rear battery configuration to improve visibility and balance. This design supports confident reversing and enables quicker battery changeovers for multi-shift operations.
Built for heavier loads, the Combi-FSE 8000 includes a reinforced chassis and extended deck design to comfortably accommodate long and heavy materials while retaining the compact footprint and manoeuvrability the FSE range is known for. Operator comfort and safety remain central to the design, with Combilift’s full-visibility cab, an intuitive control layout, and a focus on ergonomics for extended shifts.
The model also comes equipped with Combi-Connect, Combilift’s cloud-based telematics platform. It enables real-time performance monitoring, diagnostics, and usage analytics, helping fleet managers improve productivity, reduce downtime, and plan proactive maintenance more effectively.
As more industries accelerate the shift to greener materials handling, the Combi-FSE 8000 represents a significant step forward in high-capacity electric sideloading, bringing heavy-duty capability into a zero-emission format.
